We recommend getting a facial every 4-6 weeks to maintain healthy, glowing skin. However, the frequency of facials may vary depending on your skin type and concerns. Our estheticians can help determine the best schedule for you.
A Swedish massage is a more relaxing, full-body massage that uses long, smooth strokes, kneading, and circular movements to help ease tension and promote relaxation. A deep tissue massage, on the other hand, is a more intense massage that focuses on deeper layers of muscle tissue and may involve more pressure and stretching techniques.
We recommend getting a Brazilian wax every 3 to 4 weeks, or 4 to 6 weeks for those with slower hair growth. This timeline ensures the hair is the required 1/4 inch long for optimal, less painful results... Following this schedule also trains the hair to grow back finer and slower. Consistency is key to maintaining smooth skin.
Key Preparation Steps
Hair Growth: Ensure hair is at least 1/4 inch long (about the length of a grain of rice) for the wax to adhere properly. Stop shaving at lest 2 weeks before booking appointment.
Exfoliation: Gently exfoliate the skin 24-48 hours before your appointment to remove dead skin cells and to help prevent ingrown hairs!
Skin Care (Day of):
Cleanse the area with warm water and avoid applying lotions, oils, creams, or deodorant, as these can create a barrier that prevents the wax from sticking.
Pain Management: Take an over-the-counter pain reliever (like ibuprofen or Tylenol) 30-45 minutes before your session to minimize discomfort.
Comfort Measures: Wear loose, breathable cotton clothing to avoid irritation.
Hydration: Drink plenty of water to ensure skin is hydrated and pliable.
Avoid Irritants: Skip alcohol and excessive caffeine, which can cause increased skin sensitivity.
